Currently working at New York Fashion Week with Art Hearts Fashion, Serrano continues to refine his approach to event production. “If it weren’t for the CEO and President believing in me, I might never have stepped into production,” he reflects. His experience during art hearts fashion has taught him that great events require more than just aesthetics—they demand flawless execution. His work in wedding planning follows the same philosophy. “Every couple has a unique story, and my job is to translate that into a one-of-a-kind event that reflects their or the brands personality/identity ,” he explains. His background in luxury branding ensures that each event he plans is a sophisticated yet deeply personal affair.
The Evolution of a Creative Powerhouse
Serrano is constantly pushing the boundaries of his craft, elevating his work to new heights with bigger productions and a broader impact. “I’ve built a strong foundation, and now I’m focusing on expanding my brand and taking on more ambitious projects and showcasing my creativity,” he says. With exciting new ventures on the horizon, including script writing, music videos, and more projects to be announced, he is redefining what it means to be a modern-day producer and director.
For Serrano, the journey has not been without its challenges. “I’ve been underestimated because of my age, my background, and even my sexuality,” he acknowledges. But rather than let these challenges define him, he uses them as fuel. His book was released summer ‘24, titled ‘The Basic Introduction to Event Planning’, and stands as a testament to his mission of empowering others to break boundaries and take control of their careers, their marketing, and those outdated rule books.
