Oscar Scivier has been appointed as Senior Director, A&R, Asia, at Warner Music to help support the company’s expansion across the region.
Scivier is an experienced artist and repertoire (A&R) executive, as well as producer and artist manager whose roster of global artists includes deadmau5, Madison Beer, DJ Regard, Rita Ora, Zayn, and Kygo. His A&R work has been Grammy-nominated and has resulted in tracks that have amassed billions of streams and achieved more than 75 certifications.
Scivier previously served as Head of Music at Digital Arts and Sciences Inc., a music and content collective, and as Senior Vice President of A&R at First Access Entertainment, where, according to his LinkedIn page, he handled A&R and management for Madison Beer, DJ Regard, Rita Ora, and Alexander Stewart. First Access Entertainment is a joint venture between its CEO and Co-Founder, Sarah Stennett, and Len Blavatnik, founder and chairman of Warner Music’s major shareholder, Access Industries.
He has also served as Director, A&R, at Sony Music’s Ultra Music, where he managed artists like Kygo, Era Istrefi, OMI, Steve Aoki, Mr Probz, Louis the Child, Deorro, MSTR ROGERS, Klingande, Kap Slap, Mako, SNBRN, and Bearson. Prior to his work at Ultra Music, he served as Label Manager of Rising Music at Three Six Zero.
In his newfound role at Warner Music, Scivier will be based in Hong Kong, where he will work closely with the company’s regional team to develop and implement A&R strategies to focus on launching local artists globally.

According to Scivier’s LinkedIn page, he is an experienced A&R, artist manager, and marketer who has worked to develop artists and break records from niche culture to mainstream, during which he often took an international approach to scale success globally. Over the past 14 years, he has worked on projects that included OMI’s 2016 global #1 hit “Cheerleader,” Mr Probz’s 2015 hit “Waves,” and more.
AllMusic.com also states that he has worked on recent albums such as Silence Between Songs and Life Support by Madison Beer as an executive producer, as well as the album Me 4 U by OMI as a composer.
