On June 10th, Teladoc Health, a global virtual-care company, announced that experienced healthcare leader Charles “Chuck” Divita, III, would be filling the role of chief executive officer immediately and joining Teladoc Health’s Board of Directors.

Divita joins the virtual healthcare leader from GuideWell, a well-regarded health solutions organization that includes Florida Blue (the leading healthcare plan in the Sunshine State). At GuideWell, Divita served as the executive vice president of commercial marketing, where he was responsible for $23 billion in revenue and had accountability for Florida Blue’s individual consumer, insured group, and national account self-funded businesses. Divita brings to Teladoc Health a history that proves his strengths in growth, innovation, and advancing new models across a wide range of healthcare stakeholders.
Before his time with GuideWell, Divita was the chief financial officer of FPIC Insurance Group, a publicly traded property and casualty insurer specializing in medical professional liability. Divita has also served on the boards of Prime Therapeutics, Availity, and Vim. He remains focused on community service endeavors, serving on the boards of Ronald-McDonald House in Jacksonville and Teach for America.
