With four decades of Wall Street experience, Carnivore Trading is building a community centered on long-term wealth creation. An active trading firm, the brand places an emphasis on teaching individuals how to participate directly in growth stocks rather than relying on packaged financial products. In this way, Carnivore Trading ensures that transparent education and risk discipline are at the forefront.

Founded on Institutional Market Experience

Though Carnivore Trading has only operated for six years now, the firm’s founders boast 40 years of professional experience. They have navigated the difficulties of Wall Street at institutions like Merrill Lynch, Alex Brown & Sons, Deutsche Bank, Bear Stearns, and JPMorgan Chase.

At these organizations, Carnivore Trading’s founders managed client accounts, investment banking and IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, block-trading, and even the creation of an NYSE-listed product. Throughout their careers, they have earned the credibility and industry fluency necessary to inform Carnivore Trading’s current strategy, one which the firm claims delivers triple-digit returns yearly.

An Unlikely Origin Story

When the firm’s founders met in Las Vegas and started thinking about building Carnivore Trading, they barely had the starting capital to launch a website, let alone build a firm. Rather than waiting to realize their dream, the partners put money down at the roulette table and hoped for the best. The two say they hit nine out of 12 times and found themselves with enough funds to start the company from the ground up.

A Different View on Wealth Creation

“Wall Street tells people that 4 or 7% annually is a good return,” one founder explained. “That’s a lie. That doesn’t even keep up with inflation. Wall Street also lies about diversification, and they want you in packaged products like mutual funds… We believe that owning individual stocks, growth stocks, is what drives wealth.”

The passive allocation and overreliance on mutual funds promoted by major firms may be safe, but they are not necessarily advantageous. Carnivore Trading makes the argument that buying and selling stocks tactically is a more effective way to achieve returns, emphasizing that growth stocks can drive outsized results. Of course, clients must be educated on the market to navigate trades effectively.

“We wanted to teach people exactly how we drive triple-digit returns every year,” one founder continued, “do it live and in person with them so they can see that it’s real, and show them that they can do it too… We want [them to] stop listening to people who don’t have a stake in their success or failure.”

A Model Built on Community and Education

Above all, Carnivore Trading emphasizes real-time trading visibility, member education, coaching through volatility, and long-term community retention. The firm’s primary function is to make money for its members, all while educating them on how they themselves navigate the market. As a result of building this kind of encouraging community, one founder explained, “our members never leave.”

Ambition for the Future

Moving forward, Carnivore Trading aims to become the kind of firm where partners work together to commit capital to new opportunities. In the same way that early investors backed the firm’s own concept, the firm aims to help new partners find the same kind of opportunities through tactical investments. For now, Carnivore Trading aims to build its partnerships and prepare for the future.
