Health-E Commerce, parent brand to leading online marketplace sites FSA Store and HSA Store, recently announced that Zack Peckham had been appointed the company’s new CEO. Peckham joined Health-E Commerce in 2017 as vice president of strategy and, in 2022, became the company’s CFO. He succeeds Preston Farrington, who will retire after serving as the company’s CEO since 2020. Farrington expressed his confidence in Peckham’s leadership skills and the company’s future.

“Zack has helped drive Health-E Commerce’s success since he joined eight years ago. His deep knowledge of the industry and experience across the various facets of the business position him as the ideal leader to guide Health-E Commerce into the future,” said Farrington. “As I transition to retirement, I am confident in Zack’s abilities and the exceptional team at Health-E Commerce as they continue to help customers maximize their pre-tax healthcare benefits.”

About the New CEO

With nearly two decades of experience in corporate finance, consulting, and investing, Peckham is recognized for his ability to drive growth and deliver results. Since joining Health-E Commerce, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategy, leading financial operations, and ensuring the business remains strong for the future.

Throughout Peckham’s tenure, he has been deeply involved in the growth of the company’s family of brands, positioning Health-E Commerce as a source of truth for FSA and HSA eligibility and compliance and consumer education.

“I am honored to build on the strong foundation that our team at Health-E Commerce has created, and excited to lead the company into its next chapter of growth,” said Peckham. “Health-E Commerce was founded on the mission of simplifying FSAs and HSAs so individuals and families can confidently use their funds. We will continue to innovate and grow by providing a best-in-class experience and education for account holders, and remain true to our guaranteed-eligibility promise across all categories, including over-the-counter medications, pain relief, skin and personal care, sun protection, high-tech health devices, first aid, telehealth services, and more.”

Believing that success is about how well staff work together, Peckham enters his new role dedicated to promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and smart execution that supports the company’s continued growth. The new CEO holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Peckham is also a Certified Public Accountant. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing golf, and testing new BBQ recipes.
