From his first moving job at 17 to founding his own company, Jenicek emphasizes preparation, communication, and customer service.

When preparing to move, a clear plan is essential, whether to a different neighborhood or a new city. Moving involves much more than packing and transporting belongings to a new home. You need to coordinate schedules, protect furniture, and plan moving-day logistics.

Michael Jenicek, founder of Move Forward LLC, understands what customers need for a successful move in Spokane, Washington, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. His experience in moving and furniture delivery has shaped his approach to navigating local moves, long-distance relocations, and packing projects.

“Moving often marks an important transition: buying a home, relocating for work, downsizing, or starting over. I wanted families and businesses in Spokane and North Idaho to have a dependable local moving company they could call during those moments,” Jenicek explains.

First Job to Business Owner

Jenicek entered the moving industry at 17. At that age, he was already living on his own and working full-time while still in school. The moving company that hired him was located directly across from his apartment.

That conveniently located job taught him lessons that he would use as the foundation of his future career and business. Jenicek learned hands-on skills in packing, protecting furniture, loading trucks, and moving belongings. Later in his career, he worked delivering furniture. Over time, he would transition into general management, where he gained valuable experience in scheduling, team leadership, operations, and customer service.

“That background gave me an understanding of both the physical work and the planning behind a successful move,” Jenicek says.

When he founded Move Forward LLC, he prioritized clear communication and careful handling. This approach drew on his customer experience and Jenicek’s understanding of what makes a move successful.

Moving Services in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene

Move Forward LLC specializes in both local and long-distance moves. The company handles residential relocations in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, and surrounding communities.

In addition to transporting clients’ belongings, the company also offers packing and unpacking, furniture delivery, commercial moving, and labor-only loading and unloading. The company handles moves with its own local teams and doesn’t outsource.

“For someone comparing Spokane movers or Coeur d’Alene moving companies, our goal is to make the choice feel clear: an experienced local team, an organized process, and people who take responsibility for the service they provide,” Jenicek adds.

When preparing a quote, the company asks customers about their inventory, stairs, parking, addresses, and preferred moving dates. Clear communication and detail verification help crews prepare and confirm what customers can expect on moving day.

Jenicek plans to maintain high-quality customer service while expanding Move Forward LLC. He will also continue to develop leadership opportunities for local employees, responsibilities he says he takes seriously.

“My goal is for Move Forward LLC to become the first company people recommend when someone asks for dependable movers in Spokane or Coeur d’Alene,” Jenicek concludes.
